Romantic City Vibes Engagement Session | Downtown Chattanooga | Mackenzie + Cory

Mackenzie + Cory’s city vibes engagement session in downtown Chattanooga was SO fun! Mackenzie has great style and it was easy to capture her vision. With both an old Hollywood vibe and a classic city look, capturing Mackenzie + Cory’s love was a blast.

We shot their engagement photos in The Dwell Hotel in the heart of downtown Chattanooga for a fun little date night vibe. These two lovebirds were naturals in front of the camera, nailing the classy look of these photos. Mackenzie’s velvet dress and pearl shoes were perfect, and Cory was looking dapper in his gray suit. Mackenzie’s style was one of my favorite parts of this session. She found her outfits online, through Instagram ads, I think!

The Dwell Hotel has such great decor and an old school feel. They describe themselves as “a swanky take on mid-century modern, where luxury meets retro, and high class meets high comfort.” I’d say that’s accurate! There were so many little spots inside and out that were perfect for a session like this.

The shots we got on the streets of downtown are so timeless. Look at how beautiful these two look!

After shooting in the hotel, we had an outfit change and went outside to the parking garage. It was a clean and simple backdrop perfect for a city look!

We could not pass up the opportunity to get some champagne popping shots. Popping champagne for photos is pretty simple: take the cork out, put your finger over the top, and shake! There’s nothing better than the playfulness and genuine smiles you get from this!

Getting to combine the two different kinds of looks into one city vibes engagement session was amazing. I shot some film while we were downtown too, so watch out for that on my Instagram feed!
