is a stunning place and made for an amazing location for Kaylin + Cameron’s beach engagement session and Key West elopement! The photos turned out amazing with a fun couples photoshoot on the sand and in the water and classy tropical vibes throughout their wedding portraits.
Kaylin + Cameron met in Key West through the Navy and are currently stationed there, so it just made sense to capture these big moments in their story there by the water.
They loved the beach, and so did I! The water was so nice and the weather was perfect this time of year in the beginning of spring. Only thing I didn’t love was getting absolutely FRIED that day – I was SO sunburnt!
Other than making me red, the sun was actually gorgeous all day – there was an amazing sunset and sunrise that gave us perfect lighting for both their engagement photoshoot and their bride and groom portraits after their ceremony.
We had a great time playing with the sun while we were getting photos on the beach, changing up the angles facing into the sun and facing away. I always tell my couples to have lots of points of contact – the more the better. Then I do my thing capturing different angles while they love on each other.
Their Key West elopement photos in town were gorgeous. The palm trees, vespa, and beautiful wedding flowers just kicked everything up a notch. Kaylin looked amazing in her dress and had her hair done by Frankie Makeup Artistry & Hair Design. Look at how incredible these two look!
Key West is full of fun photo locations other than the beach, including throughout town and on the pier. There are also lots of great food options – overall, it’s a really fun spot! So if you’re looking in Florida, definitely consider a Key West elopement. And while you’re at it, let me know, and we can do it together!
