We met when they were models for a styled shoot of mine back in April. We had bonded over our love for Elvis and the filmy photo style I have been shooting lately. I was so honored that they asked me to shoot their engagement photos and we had such a blast!
Brandon is in a band and Macie is a musician photographer so of course Nashville just makes sense! (Check out Brandon’s band The Red Clay Strays here!) We shot this vibey, vintage engagement photoshoot in Franklin, TN. Franklin had the perfect backdrops for both the field shots and the retro car shots.
This retro car had to be my favorite part of this engagement session! It fit their vision perfectly, and totally added to the vintage vibes.
These two are naturals in front of the camera – which is no surprise since I met them when they were modeling for me! From the outfits to the props to their undeniable chemistry, this shoot was amazing. It was a little chilly, but they weren’t phased and it was so fun to bring their vision to life.
This retro, vintage vibe is definitely trending right now, and I love it. I shot about half of this session on film, and it is so much fun to be able to lean into the style I love that is also a popular style people are wanting these days!
The elevated engagement session look gives almost an elopement vibe and I really can’t get enough of it. If you are thinking about having an engagement session like that like this vintage engagement photoshoot, please let me know! I want to help you bring that idea to life!
